Thank you for your interest in the Hooters ProCup Online Racing Series (HPCORS).  To join HPCORS, follow the steps below.

New to Sim Racing?

See the HPCORS getting started page.

Prerequisites:

(1) NR2OO5.  You must have a copy of NASCAR Racing 2OO5 Season (NR2OO5) installed.

(2) OLR Subscription.  If you're not already an OLR member, read about OLR subscription rates and join OLR.  You'll need the OLR Client installed - that is available from the OLR download page.

(Note: an OLR subscription entitles you to a wide variety of online racing services and access to many OLR leagues.  Most noteworthy is the OLR client that allows any OLR member to setup and launch OLR pickup racing servers.)

The following is required:

(3) Drive with Savvy. Read Bob Stanley's Racing Savvy.  Take this driving attitude to heart.

(4) Read the Rules.  The HPCORS series rules are here.

(5) Join HPCORS.  Signup at the OLR HPCORS page by clicking Apply to this League in the right-hand column.  Include your ProCup division of choice (North or South) in your request (see the series overview for info about ProCup divisions) by preceding your sponsor name by N or S.  E-mail Tony Stevens or Mark Royer with any questions or issues with signing up.

(6) Install Mods. To drive the ProCup races, install the GNS Series Mod.  To drive in the Touring Series, install the LMv2, Whelen and Street Stock mods.  Mods and OLR Client are available on the OLR download page.

(7) Install Tracks.  Download and install the Hooters ProCup tracks.  Links to all required tracks are on the HPCORS download page.

The following is strongly recommended:

(8) Download HPCORS Cars. Download the ProCup carfiles from the HPCORS ProCup Showroom and Touring Series carfiles from the OLR showroom (Late Model, Whelen Modified, and Street Stock classes).  Place carfiles for each class in their respective series directory, i.e.,

C:\Program Files\NASCAR Racing 2OO5 Season\series\lmpv2\cars

C:\Program Files\NASCAR Racing 2OO5 Season\series\whelen\cars, and

C:\Program Files\NASCAR Racing 2OO5 Season\series\streetstocks\cars.

(9) Install BF (Goodrich Tires.  The USAR Hooters ProCup uses BF Goodrich tires.  Download and install the BF Goodrich tire textures (approx 0.25 MBytes).  Unpack the tire texture zip file to the C:\Program Files\NASCAR Racing 2OO5 Season\series\gns directory

(10) Paint a Hooters ProCup Car: If you plan to race in a ProCup division, paint a new GNS car or modify your existing GNS car in to match the USAR Hooters ProCup style (see the Hooters ProCup painting guide for instructions and the download page for decal images).  There is a five driver point bonus for each ProCup race for driving a correctly branded car.  If you need help contact Tony Stevens or Mark Royer.  Also note that to be eligible for HPCORS ProCup awards you must have a correctly branded car.

(11) Paint your Touring Series Cars: If you plan to race in the Touring Series, paint a street stock, whelen modified and late model car.  Note: Unlike the ProCup divisions, the Touring Series has no branding or paint requirements.

(12) Load CarFiles to OLR Show Room: Load your painted carfiles to the OLR showroom by selecting Manage Car Files towards the upper right of the showroom webpage.  ProCup cars should be loaded to the GNS showroom and Touring Series carfiles to the LMPv2, Whelen and Street Stock showrooms.
