Derek Roberts Awarded the Victory

HPCORS officials adjusted the finishing order at Salem Speedway last Sunday night, giving the victory to second place finisher Derek Roberts (outlaw10).  Following a late-lap incident between Matt Watkins (nesman90) and Dave Washington (d_wash) that put Watkins a lap down and Washington in victory lane, officials dropped Washington officially to the end of the lead lap, or sixth place.

Washington Pulls Down 2nd ProCup Win

Dave Washington (d_wash) has become the first two-time Hooters ProCup winner in 2008 by snagging the checkers at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.  Thus far, he has taken two of the three North Division races jumping out to a cool 50 point lead over Matt Watkins (nesman90).

liteman - Tastes Great

Denis Balsar (liteman), South division points leader extended that lead last night by driving his Ford Fusion to victory lane at Milwaukee Mile against a combined field of both north and south drivers.  The unusual 'combo' event placed both North and South division drivers on the same track at the same time in what was in effect two separately scored races, one for each division.  First place for the North division went to Derek Roberts (outlaw10), who finished 2nd overall, behind Balsar.

Defending Champ Gets First 2008 ProCup Win

Derek Roberts (Outlaw10), 2007 Hooters ProCup Online Racing defending champion, took his first checkers of the 2008 season yesterday at Concord Motorsports Park.
