If you love short trackin’ this is the place to be.  Hooters ProCup Online Racing Series (HPCORS) runs two ProCup divisions and a Touring Series which includes late model, modified, and street stock classes.  The North and South ProCup divisions are modeled after the USAR Hooters ProCup Series as seen on Versus sports network and at USARfans.com.

The Touring Series gives the feel of a summer night at your local short track with three sprint races including a 75 lap late model feature.

Royer Snags a Pair

Following a frightening roll-over in the street stock class, won by Derek Roberts (outlaw10), Mark Royer (mroyer) came back to grab his first short track win ever in the modifieds class and immediately followed that with his second checkers ever in the late models class.

A Blistering Night at Peach State

Racing teams battled blistered right front tires all night at Peach State this past Sunday as Hoosier Tire Company tried a new compound to improve the usually slippery surface at the track.  "The compound simply held too much heat and if drivers weren't very careful entering, the right front blistered and burned up very quickly." explained company spokesman Reyor Kram.  Nevertheless, Joe Roberts (butchie) managed to take two classes, street stocks and modifieds, leaving the 75 lap feature late model checkers for Denis Balsar (liteman).
